Confirmation Tip November 25, 2008
This time of year, many people are looking to serve somewhere. This is a great time to serve with your family and friends. Contact the Salvation Army to be a bell ringer, Buffalo Food Shelf to sort food and the care centers to see if you can go caroling and visit residents.
Confirmation Parents Needed November 25, 2008
Due to large small groups and not enough chaperones, Zion is asking that parents come in and assist with small groups for the year. This will give parents the opportunity to see and live out what their students are doing each week.
There will be an appointed schedule available starting December 3.

Confirmation Service Tip October 27, 2008
Confirmation students – if you are doing service with a family member (which is recommended), and have a conversation about your service, that can count as a family devotion!

- Oct 15 – NO CLASS – FALL BREAK
- Oct 22 – Moses/Ten Commandments

Confirmation Registration Is Open June 30, 2008
The opening schedule for Confirmation is as follows:
- 3 September – Parent meeting 6:00pm
- 10 September – Introduction to the Year and first Large Group class
- 17 September – Second Large Group Class – first night to break into small groups
Register for confirmation at http://www.zionbuffalo.org/index.cfm?PAGE_ID=1704 ; registration is important for 7th graders and those new to confirmation at Zion, returning 8th graders will be in the same small group as last year and do not need to re-register.
